Dr Oggy East is the co-founder and director of Semantise Ltd. Having worked
in academia and medical research environments for 10 years, Oggy moved into
the educational technology field in 1998. Over the past few years Oggy has
been responsible for implementing FirstClassTM systems for businesses,
schools, further and higher education colleges and Local Education
Authorities. Along with Dr Rich Edwards, Semantise has grown over the past 5
years, developing communication systems. Coupled with expertise in XML,
XSLT, Java, SQL and Relational Databases including design, deployment and
performance tuning technologies, Semantise can help organisations leverage
the power of their data and communication networks.
