Biography of Andy Whitaker

Andy has over 20 years experience within the IT industry and started as a systems programmer, this lead onto a data centre management role and IT security consultancy.

The experience gained from systems and data centre management allowed Andy to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of IT subject areas including: IT and information security, Business continuity procedures, systems management, operational procedures.

Andy has performed various IT related management and consultancy assignments for governments and leading financial organisations.

For the last 7 years Andy has been focussed on information security including BS 7799 and the relevant acts of parliament. During this time he has undertaken various management positions.
