Made in Wales: Redefining manufacturing in the 21st Century

Waterton Technology Centre,
Bridgend

9am - 11.30am
Friday 18th November

Welsh manufacturing continues to face economic challenges as worldwide consumer trends change, driving key industries overseas in search of more "cost effective" productivity.

Today we take a look at some of the ways local manufacturers are exploiting technology to help remain competitive in the global marketplace whilst also remaining in Wales.

One of the current hot topics is that of rising utility costs. With Legislation clamp down and rising costs, companies can make a big saving on monitoring their energy consumption and production costs. See a live demonstration of the latest equipment in action at Waterton.

Speakers Include:

David Moore, Carbon Trust
Paul Bailey, The Manufacturing Advisory Service
Ken Gale, Expert Monitoring Limited
Gash Bhullar, Control 2K Limited
