eCommerce Innovation Centre
The eCIC at Cardiff University is a Centre of Excellence, with particular focus on the use of eCommerce within small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and international trade and transport. Case studies illustrating how Welsh SMEs are gaining benefits from pragmatic use of eCommerce can be downloaded from this site.

New eBusiness Clubs launched in January 2002 by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and the DTI to help SMEs conduct more business online. The first in Wales will be based at Cardiff Chamber of Commerce - phone 029 2025 3000.

Mid Wales Award to Support E-Business
Small and micro-businesses throughout Mid Wales will be eligible for a new award that is being piloted in the region to help support e-business projects. Each eligible project could receive an award of up to £300. This could be the establishment of a website from which to promote and sell goods or services, to starting or improving a process through the use of IT equipment.
