SITPRO
The Simpler Trade Procedures Board is an independent agency supported by the DTI. Its business is to make British companies more competitive in world trade by attacking red tape, developing the
technical skills of those involved and encouraging the use of information technology, distribution and payment processes. Find a very useful set of free publications on the site, including country
factsheets.
Export Control Organisation 
This site from the DTI offers up-to-date information about export controls, via a number of official regulatory documents which are freely available to all visitors. The site contains a brief guide to the business of export controls which provides basic answers to some of the most commonly asked
questions. Export Controls: A Guide for Business offers a more detailed look at common export control issues.
Also provide up-to-date copies of all UK Open General Export Licences (OGELs) & a copy of the current Control List in PDF format, allowing fully searchable access to all control list entries.
Export Credits Guarantee Department
