Regularly reported by the major mortgage lenders, notably the Nationwide Building Society and the Halifax. Both give an analysis of the market as a whole and for different areas of the country, as well as providing
tables of average prices by region. For more accurate prices of properties in England and Wales the Land Registry Property Prices Database is the
place to go.
