BT Directory Enquiries
BT’s free online telephone directory. You can find phone numbers of people and businesses which appear in the printed Phone Books, together with complete addresses, postcodes and a link to a map.

BT Yellow Pages
Over 1.7 million businesses listed on Yell.com.

White pages directory for people and businesses in the UK. Same basic data as BT Directory Enquiries but has a nationwide search for businesses.

UK Telephone Code Locator
Give it a code, phone number, exchange name, or place name & it will return a variety of information which can include: number allocations, location information, nearby area codes, charges & a map showing where it is. This excellent FREE service is provided by Warwick University and if you look at the Phone Information on their website you will find a wealth of useful links.

Offer a range of searches including a People Finder. They claim that "using this page you can search over 45 million listed on the Electoral Roll and 13 million people in the Directory Enquiries database". The basic Who What Where search is free and provides phone numbers, addresses and maps. You are only entitled to 20 free searches per month. More advanced searches require a monthly subscription or purchase of one of their UK Info Disk products.
