Institute of Grocery Distribution
IGD aims to be "the leading source of information, research and education for the food & grocery industry." The site offers free factsheets on the grocery industry, for example on small food producers and UK retail market shares. Business & Retail Crime
The Home Office is providing funding of £15m over three years for a project to improve security of small retailers in the most deprived areas throughout England and Wales. The money will be used to help small retailers enhance security of their premises by installing additional locks or toughened glass, or may be used to make improvements to their immediate environments.
