About the speaker

Matthew Roach completed his BEng and PhD at Swansea University and then joined BT Research. After some time doing large systems modelling for companies like, mobile telecoms, MoD and London Underground he went on to establish his own business and during 5 years delivered website development and services to small businesses and then recently joined the new programme of ITWales, Software Alliance Wales as their Business Service Manager.

Rachael Wheatley Rachael Wheatley is the Director and founder of Waters Creative Ltd a creative design company based in Technium Digital, Swansea.

Originally from Swansea, Rachael spent 10yrs away at University in Portsmouth and during her initial employment in the Reading area. As an IT graduate who studied design and information systems, Rachael specialised in screen design and interactive websites/multimedia. Rachael worked as a CRM Marketing Communications consultant for business software giant Oracle UK, before becoming a freelance designer/developer. Whilst freelancing Rachael had the opportunity to work with Saatchi and Saatchi on the Oil of Olay rebrand, the HP ’Invent’ campaign and the development of web based ordering systems for Syngenta.

Waters Creative Ltd was set up in 2004 and is currently working on projects with start up companies, through to major corporations across the UK such as Boots the Chemist, Admiral Insurance, and more locally Swansea University, on web and print based design solutions.

Following the presentation there will be a buffet and an opportunity to network with delegates and presenters.
