Guest Speaker: Alex Richards, TEK2 IT Management

You cannot improve what you cannot measure

One of the biggest advantages of the Internet is that all interactions are measurable. As a website owner, website analytics is one of the most important tools in operating a successful business. It is the key to knowing who your customers are, where they are coming from, and which ones are converting to products or services sold through your website.

In this workshop, guest speaker Alex Richards will introduce the latest technological advances in website analytics and will explain how analytics information can be used to improve website performance.

From identifying traffic sources and tracking your site visitors behaviour, through to using that information to focus on effective online marketing, this event aims to provide the audience with a working knowledge of website analytics, in order to correlate the tutorial to real life examples within their own businesses.

The focus of the workshop will be directed toward using Google Analytics, a free package that can be installed with ease into any existing website.

This event forms part of the ITWales business development programme and is FREE to attend, however advance booking is required. Following the presentation there will be a buffet and opportunity for some valuable networking.
