A compendium of festive jokes, novelties and funny hats More cautionary tales from the front line of embedded software engineering by Sid Jones of Logic Magic, containing enlightenment and inspiration, leavened with Christmas humour, all served with a strong moral message for the festive season.

Sid Jones is an embedded firmware developer and all-round arithmetic whiz who runs a one-man-and-his-cat problem solving business, Logic Magic, based in Wrexham.

Logic/Magic was founded in November 1979, after three years of interesting postgraduate study into microprocessors at UCNW Bangor, followed by an equally interesting but less highly motivated two years of working in electronic design engineering in Surrey.

Now entering its 30th year, Logic Magic has fought - and continues to fight - firmware fires around the world, in Europe, Japan, the States and large parts of the UK. Sids motto: Its all very well thinking outside the box. Occasionally it helps to see what we can use thats already inside the box - and to read the manual first!
