Nsure, Wales' leading online backup service provider, has announced that it has secured a major reseller deal with SafeHouse Inc., the US developer of hard disk encryption software. Nsure will begin to market the innovative software throughout the UK, through both its current retailer network and directly to large and corporate business.
The SafeHouse software claims to provide total privacy and protection for sensitive files and folders using passwords and military-strength encryption, which is transparent to users, and fully compatible with all Microsoft applications.
Recent media reports have highlighted the loss of unencrypted, confidential data in transit, and Nsure say that the loss of a laptop can cause equal havoc as generally none of the data stored on it would be secured. The company say that the SafeHouse software will address these problems, whether you're a small business with two or three machines, or a corporate customer with hundreds of laptops to protect.
The software works on all drives, including external USB drives, USB memory sticks, network servers, and CDs / DVDs, and confidential files can only be accessed by entering a secret password.
Kevin Plunkett, Chief Executive Officer of Nsure said, "We are delighted to have signed a distribution deal with SafeHouse. This will help us to further cement our place in the business marketplace as a committed supplier of data and information security products."
Peter Avritch, CEO of SafeHouse Inc., commented, "This is a major step forward for us. We are pleased to have a company like Nsure bringing the SafeHouse product to the UK market, with their proven track record of delivering innovative and distinctive software solutions."
