ITWales has developed a unique offering for this year's ICT Forum Wales events programme creating what is to be believed the UK's first ever online, virtual exhibition experience.
ITWales' Virtual Exhibition enables delegates and exhibitors at the ICT Forum to meet up and network live online within a secure 'Virtual Hub.' They will also be able to catch up with some of the key activities from the two-week forum through the 'Virtual Conference Theatre', which will be screening selected highlights and presentations from the events programme.
Sali Earls of ITWales, is looking forward to seeing the Virtual Exhibition in action: "As we promote the benefits of technology to Welsh businesses, it was fitting that we developed something innovative and forward thinking for the 2007 ICT Forum Wales events programme.
"Developed in-house, the Virtual Exhibition is
the first of its kind in the UK, and is not only the perfect environment to keep updated with all that's going on at this year's forum but also a fantastic space to promote your organisation and communicate
live with other businesses and exhibitors."
The exhibition will run from 10.00am Tuesday 13 November to 3.00pm Friday 23 November, and will be open 24/7. There will be four exhibitor zones, including Training & Support, Technical Services, Creative Services and Business Services. Helping support the exhibition is Cardiff based webcasting specialists, MultiStream, who will webcast the live events programme and facilitate the Virtual Conference Theatre over the two week period.
Ruth Thomas, Operation Director of MultiStream, said: "The two week Virtual Exhibition is an ambitious project, but one we are very much looking forward to teaming up with ITWales and working on. The live Conference Theatre has all the ingredients to be a great success and I have no doubt we will see many event organisers wanting to develop this same virtual concept going forward."
Virtual stand space to promote business products and services is available at the rate of £200 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Stands can be reserved by emailing info@ictforumwales.com or calling ITWales on 01792 513382.
