Guest speaker: Rhys Jones, AccountisMajor buyers are now increasingly adopting electronic means of trading, using the internet to send orders, receive invoices and make payments. Rhys will discuss the opportunity and impact to suppliers who have been asked by their larger customers to trade with them electronically. He will cover how orders can be received through the web and email, how invoices that are VAT compliant can be sent through the internet, and how payment can be received electronically. The presentation will also follow the path a typical supplier takes in starting to trade electronically.
