Particularly recommended as inspiration on why to pursue IT / Computing
Building on the success of last years event, this year each group will take part in two 45-minute workshops as well as have the chance to informally interact with a range of developing new technology products. There will also be the opportunity to interact with the use of IT within our displays and to feedback on its success in an organised evaluation session.
This event is supported by BBC Wales New Media, CISCO Systems, Linksys, Computer Science at Swansea University, UWIC, British Computer Society, British Psychological Society and Careers Wales.
6pm - 7pm
Seasonal reception for British Computer Society Christmas lecture
Includes light refreshments and an opportunity to visit museum exhibits. Selected exhibits from the schools programme will also be accessible.
7pm - 8pm
The Christmas Lecture - "Upgrading humans - Technical Realities and New Morals"
