To celebrate International Women’s Day 2005, ITWales is holding an event focusing on the achievements of women in Wales. Building upon the success of previous years "Women Shaping the Future of Wales" will not only provide a platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and best practice for women in business, but will also offer an insight into the diverse range of career opportunities for women in the 21st Century.

Speakers this year include Maxine Room, Principal of Swansea College; Anne Jones, Assistant Information Commissioner for Wales; Andrea Jones, Director of Llanelli based Enterprise Consultancy Group I Net Experts Ltd and Professor Sian Hope, Head of Computer Science at University of Wales Bangor. The evening will be hosted by Hywel Evans, President of West Wales Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of Computeraid Ltd.
