Thursday 20th
January 2005
Robert Recorde Room,
Department of Computer Science
Swansea University
Cybercrime is a growing concern for businesses and individuals in Wales and 2005 sees the start of a major drive to tackle this problem. E Crime Wales is a partnership initiative between the four
Welsh Police Forces, the Welsh Development Agency, Morgan Cole, the National Hi-Tec Crime Unit and the Welsh Assembly Government. IT Wales is proud to be an active supporter of the initiative
and is committed to ensuring business club members have the opportunity to "have their say".
IT Wales has invited members of the E Crime Wales partnership to attend this first event for 2005 and offer delegates the chance to hear an
overview of the issues surrounding cybercrime and its effect on business in Wales. Following the initial presentations the panel will then take questions and comment from the floor.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to find out how to keep your business from becoming a cybercrime statistic!
Confirmed speakers include Bruce Potter, Morgan Cole and DS Steve Harrod, South Wales Police.
