Most businesses recognise that the use of Information and Communications Technology ICT and the Internet, can deliver compelling business benefits and competitive advantage in today s aggressive marketplace. However the biggest challenge facing many businesses is where to turn to get affordable, reliable ICT support and advice, including how to fund ICT investments.

The Welsh Development Agency brings together all the key ICT business support initiatives into a single,focused and informative event. What s more,to lessen the impact and time pressures associated with travelling to major event venues, it’s bringing this event to you,in your local business community.

On November 20 and 21 the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea will play host to leading ICT business support organisations including The WIS Trailer,Business Eye,The ICT Support Centre Network, Opportunity Wales,Wales SME Business, @TEB, WASP,Broadband Wales, IT Wales and the Wales Tourist Board. The ICT Roadshow is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government as part of the Cymru Ar-lein Information Age Strategic Framework. These organisations will be able to give you practical,hands-on advice and assistance about how communications technology and the Internet can increase your business efficiency, productivity and above all, profitability.

Through a comprehensive mix of educational seminars,practical workshops and a tailored exhibition, this event aims to showcase the ICT support schemes and initiatives available to help your business grow and prosper. The event will feature keynote presentations from many leading support organisations, highlight case studies of successful companies that have taken the steps to deploy ICT within their business and one-to-one advisory sessions tailored to your individual business needs.

An additional support service the WIS Trailer will be situated outside the Centre from Tuesday 18 November through to Friday 21 November,running a series of clinics, workshops and presentations. The WIS Trailer is a state-of-the-art mobile showroom, featuring advanced interactive technologies designed to offer practical demonstrations of the benefits of ICT.
